On 09/20/2022, Naoki Kosuge (graduated Dept. of Systems Innovation in March 2022), Ryuichi Shibasaki (Assoc. Prof., Resilience Engineering Research Center/Dept. of Systems Innovation), Koki Kawachi (M1, Dept. of Technology Management and Innovation), Hirofumi Arai (Economic Research Institute for Northeast Asia), Takefumi Nakamura (graduated Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology in March 2022), Lei Liu (doctoral research student, Dept. of Technology Management and Innovation) in March 2022 won “OCDI Takeuchi Yoshio Logistics Award” at the 9th International Conference on Transportation and Logistics (TLOG 2022).

OCDI Takeuchi Yoshio Logistics Award ( https://tlog2022.inu.ac.kr/call-for-papers/ocdi-takeuchi-yoshio-logistics-award ) is awarded for the best paper selected from those submitted to the International Conference on Transportation and Logistics (TLOG, https://tlog2022.inu.ac.kr/home), which is held every two years.
＜About awarded research＞
The awarded paper titled "Development of Multicommodity-type Global Logistics Intermodal Network Simulation Model Including Both Containerised and Dry Bulk Cargo" logically integrated the bulk cargo (i.e. iron ore and coal) shipping into the existing global logistics intermodal network simulation model which focused on container cargo. Therefore, the paper was highly evaluated because the transportation form and trade pattern of these cargo are completely different but the competition in capacity of land transport may be observed.

I am very honored to receive the OCDI Takeuchi Yoshio Logistics Award. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prof. Shibasaki, Mr. Kawachi, and other co-authors for their tremendous efforts in additional analysis and revising of the paper.
